Right now is one of the most magical times to visit the Seaport: the cobblestones are aglow with festive decorations based on illustrations by American artist Kris Ruhs who created the visual identity for 10 Corso Como. Ruh’s vibrant public artworks can be seen along Fulton Street, featured on 300 ornaments adorning the Seaport Christmas tree, and on the dazzling installation that decorates the façade of the Garden Bar. Here are just some of the Holiday highlights at our favorite Seaport eateries.

10 Corso Como Restaurant & Cafe
 

At the heart of the innovative concept store pioneered by Carla Sozzani is its namesake restaurant, a sumptuous space designed by artist Kris Ruhs. This December, the restaurant is offering a special family-style prix fixe menu for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Share traditional dishes including lasagna bolognese, roasted halibut and white chocolate tortino for a cozy Christmas feast, or usher in the New Year with a celebratory menu featuring oysters and caviar, lobster tail, and white truffle cavatelli. World renowned executive chef Jordan Frosolone has created a menu that is both classic and elegant, offering an elevated take on traditional Italian dishes such as fritto misto, spaghetti al pomodoro, risotto Milanese, and ossobuco, complemented by an inventive cocktail menu and regional wine list. This bright, airy, two-story all-day dining destination is a modern take on the gastropub. Executive chef Edward Janda specializes in comfort food done to perfection, from custom burgers to familiar appetizers with a twist, balanced by vibrant salads and topped off with decadent desserts. This season, Janda has added some irresistible festive specials to the menu including apple pecan baked brie, a turducken burger with sweet potato fries, and milk and cookies, plus a selection of seasonal cocktails to warm your bones.

The latest outpost from this beloved vegan hotspot is offering a new seasonal menu in December, featuring plant-based updates on Holiday favorites. Highlights include no-egg eggnog, pomegranate ginger lemonade, apple cinnamon roll pancakes, potato latke, polenta, kale and shitake soup, and a festive avocado toast with roasted kale, orange, and pomegranate. Be sure to visit to the adjoining Sweets by CHLOÉ, serving vegan sweet treats baked from scratch daily including pastries, cookies, and frosted cupcakes. You can even pick up a “pupcake” for your four-legged friend.

This season, don’t miss a visit to the Seaport’s storied Fulton Stall Market, where you’ll find a bringing together the diversity of New York City’s historic public retail markets under one roof. Located at Fulton Stall Market’s Sunday site at the intersection of Fulton and Water streets, purveyors include Arthur Avenue Market, La Marqueta, 13th Avenue Market, Moore Street Market, Jamaica Farmer’s Market, and Essex Street Market. Enjoy seasonal bites, live music and craft beverages while stocking up on local produce and specialty gifts for your Holiday celebrations. 

iPic Theaters
 

iPic Theaters, Lower Manhattan’s premier cinema experience, also happens to be one of its most unique dining experiences. You don’t even need to have a movie ticket to enjoy The Tuck Room, a new concept from James Beard award-winning chef Sherry Yard. The speakeasy-style restaurant serves eclectic dishes inspired by American classics and world cuisine with prohibition-themed cocktails. If you are catching a movie, you can still enjoy high-end dining, with chef-driven dishes delivered straight to your seat or grab gourmet snacks from the iPic Express concession.

New York is renowned for outstanding hotel dining, and adding to the canon of go-to greats is Bellini, the restaurant at upscale Seaport hotel, Mr. C.
