Pride at the Seaport

Pride is in full swing across NYC, and we’ve rolled out rainbows across the Seaport District to celebrate. From celebratory events like drag brunch and the iconic Pride Island to Pride-proud specials at our restaurants and bars, you’ll find love for love in all its forms at every turn in the neighborhood. Happy Pride!

Seaport Cinema

We kicked off the month’s Pride celebrations on June 7, with a special installment of Seaport Cinema, our outdoor movie series at The Greens on The Rooftop at Pier 17. The night featured cult classic The Birdcage, with live commentary throughout the film, and a musical performance by drag queen Coco Taylor. The screening was presented by Bacardi, and guests received a complimentary cocktail, along with drinking game collateral when purchasing a Bacardi canned cocktail bucket.

Missed out on the fun? Join us for Seaport Cinema’s screening of the award-winning movie Moonlight on June 28.

Pride Island Watch Party

There’s no better way to close out Pride month than with a rooftop dance party on your own mini-lawn at The Greens. Join the Pride Island Watch Party on The Rooftop at Pier 17 and dance through the decades with your crew while enjoying good vibes, great music, and even better views of the city.

Celebrate 35 years of dancing openly with the ones you love with digital performances, a live DJ set, and archival Pride Island footage from your private rooftop mini lawn, which seats up to 8 guests. The flagship Watch Party at The Greens will feature live entertainment by DJ Joe Gauthreaux & the Pride Island dancers, plus a special appearance by Nicky Doll.

A portion of the reservation fee for this event will be donated to Ali Forney Center, whose mission is to protect LGBTQIA+ youth from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently.

Drag Brunch Powered by bubly

Brunch with a view—and drag show excellence, too.

On June 19, head to The Greens for their first ever Drag Brunch presented by bubly, featuring performances from four of New York City’s most beloved drag queens—Lagoona Bloo, with support from Elektra Lite, Castrata and Kiki Ball-Change, and a live set by DJ 2FACE.

As part of The Greens continued charity efforts, a portion of each mini lawn reservation fee for the Drag Brunch will be donated to Ali Forney Center, whose mission is to protect LGBTQIA+ youth from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently.

More Pride Love in the Seaport

Support LGBTQIA+ causes throughout the District this month, simply by ordering up something delicious. Pride month specials include:

The Pride N’ True Dairy Dip at Mister Dips

Sample a little something sweet from NoHo Hospitality’s newest outpost at Pier 17: To celebrate Pride, Mister Dips has created the Pride N’ True Dairy Dip as its seasonal cone of the month. The soft-serve delight—available through June 30—is composed of vanilla custard, cake batter, and all the colors of the rainbow. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each cone will support The Trevor Project.

The Greens Gives Back for Pride Month

As part of its ongoing charitable initiative, The Greens on The Rooftop at Pier 17 will be donating a portion of every mini-lawn reservation fee in June to the Ali Forney Center.  Founded in 2002, in memory of, and named after a gender-noncomforming youth who was tragically murdered, the Ali Forney Center’s mission is to protect LGBTQIA+ youth from the harms of homelessness, and empower them with the tools needed to live independently. The organization has grown to become the largest agency dedicated to LGBTQIA+ homeless youth in the country. Ali Forney Center assists nearly 2,000 youth per year through a 24-hour Drop-In Center, which provides over 70,000 meals annually, in addition to medical and mental health services, and a housing program.
